Know God personally. Walk with Him through everyday life.
I'm Praise Joshua, The Man In Uyo, and through Spirit Surge Global, I send two short Scripture-based emails each week to help you stay close to God and live out your faith daily.
It's completely free, takes only five minutes to read, and there is nothing for you to buy.
Who Is Writing To You
Eleven years of preaching. A lifetime of serving.
I started serving in church as a child. I joined the choir at six, played the drums at seven and the keyboard at eight. By eight or nine, I was already singing before the adult congregation.
Years before I understood what ministry would become, I also had dreams and visions of praying for people and preaching to crowds. Around 2014, I made a conscious decision to take my walk with God seriously. I became more intentional about prayer, Scripture and pursuing Him, and by 2015, I began preaching.
Since then, I've ministered at youth conferences, crusades, prophetic and apostolic gatherings, and meetings across different states.
My journey hasn't been without private battles or seasons of weakness. They taught me something I carry into everything I teach: growth is a journey. What you struggle with today doesn't have to decide who you become.
That's part of why I write Spirit Surge Global. I'm sharing truths I've had to live, not ideas I've only studied.

Plain Faith, Plainly Said
What I Believe
I don't lead with a denominational label. My identity is first in Christ. My ministry is centred on the Word of God, the Holy Spirit, prayer, spiritual growth and helping people know God for themselves. I believe that:
- Jesus Christ is the Son of God, and He is the foundation of my life and ministry.
- The Word of God is true, and the Holy Spirit is real and active today.
- God still speaks, heals, saves, transforms lives and reveals Himself to people.
- Every believer is called to know God deeply, walk with Him and express His kingdom wherever they are.
- Our lives should help people come into a genuine relationship with God and encounter the person of Jesus.
Isaiah 42:6-7 carries the heart of what I believe God has called me to do. He calls. He holds. He keeps. Then He sends us to bring light, freedom, and truth to people.
Anchor Scripture
I the LORD have called thee in righteousness, and will hold thine hand, and will keep thee, and give thee for a covenant of the people, for a light of the Gentiles; To open the blind eyes, to bring out the prisoners from the prison, and them that sit in darkness out of the prison house.
Isaiah 42:6-7, KJV

From People Who Sit Under My Teachings
These are experiences from people who have received the teaching in person. The same practical, Scripture-rooted approach is what I bring into Spirit Surge Global.
Apostle Praise's teaching has helped me understand God's Word, but more than that, it has changed how I live. I'm more intentional with my decisions, my relationships and my purpose.

The biggest change for me has been my career. Apostle Praise challenged me to stop waiting for opportunities and start developing myself. It changed the way I approach work and my future.

What stands out is how Apostle Praise's teachings connect Scripture to real life. I have learned to pray with understanding and walk with God on purpose.
